Visana Health, a women's health-focused virtual care company, announced it closed a $24 million Series A funding round led by Noro-Moseley Partners.

The Cigna Group Ventures and Intermountain Ventures participated in the round along with existing investors Flare Capital Partners and Frist Cressey Ventures.

WHAT IT DOES

Visana Health is a virtual women’s health clinic that treats menopause and perimenopause, gynecological health, sexual and reproductive health, and hormone health, and provides preventive care.

The company will utilize the funds to expand its AI capabilities and enter new markets, including weight loss, cardiometabolic care and chronic condition management, such as diabetes, thyroid disorders and cardiovascular disease.

"This financing is a recognition of the extraordinary progress we have made since our seed round, scaling nationwide to all 50 states, expanding our clinical scope and proving that women’s healthcare can deliver both outstanding outcomes and actuarily-verified cost savings at scale," Joe Connolly, cofounder and CEO of Visana Health, said in a statement.
